"Unfortunately this is the Cycle Gear closest to me. I've been in there twice recently. Went in to buy a rear tire. I could barely get the guy at the counters attention. Is it because I'm an older female? I felt like I was putting him out to have him go look for the tire. I followed to the back of the store. He scanned his stock and said "no we don't have it". no offer to call another store, nor look and offer when one might come in. I stood there and I FOUND THE TIRE. "Isn't this it?" I was rather nervous to have it mounted as he was so lackadaisical. But I was in a bind and it did in fact turn out ok.
The next time I went in, I made a small purchase. $12.04. I asked if they were ok with a $50. Same guy opens his register and says yes. So I gave the gal helping me a fifty and 4 cents. She opens her register, and proceeds to give me 37 dollars and 96 cents. I stood there, looking a little confused, yes I didnt say anything and just took the change and left.
Whenever I go in there they seem like they can't be bothered to help, lack customer service, and seem like "air heads" Again is it because I'm a little older and female? I don't know. Yes I do ride and own a motorcycle and such occasionally do need/want some things from Cycle Gear. "
"It was amazing. I was greeted upon entering the store with enthusiasm and professionalism. I was assisted with care and patience and the individual who helped me was very knowledgeable. We processed the order online and it arrived as promised. "
"The sale agent help my wife pick out a helmet. Walked her thru the different types and style, selected a options based on the designs she liked. He spent a good half-hour if not 45 minutes working to find the perfect fit that meet you unique "looks". Spent another 15 - 20 minutes going over the warrenty and special cleaning needs of a mat-black helmet.
Since the purchase, she has taken it on two ride and LOVES the helmet. Glasses NOT fogging AT ALL!

"I was asking about helmets, but got little help, as they stood behind the counter, & never came up to assist me. I asked about a Shoei (size), the guy looks annoyed looks inside the helmet and says, L. I go to return it, & he says just leave it at the counter cause he has to clean it! Very prejudice, imo. I bought from this store before, but never again!"

"I purchased a new helmet and comm system. It was close to closing and I was on my bike with no way to take new purchases with me. It was a half hour from closing, so I asked if I could run home and grab my truck, while they installed the comm system to the helmet. There was an accident on my way home that delayed me getting back before they closed. As I pulled up, I saw him unlock the door and produce my completed helmet. Thanks for waiting for this very happy customer with a great sounding new helmet!! "
